This work is rooted in a period of upheaval, shaped by a more fractured year in which the desire to create was at times suspended.
Started earlier and completed later, it carries within it this interval of pause, return, and reaffirmation.
The embroidered phrase becomes a direct, almost irreverent statement, asserting freedom of speech, autonomy, and a refusal to be contained.
Through this piece, more intimate forms of transmission also emerge: a received strength, an emotional inheritance, and an energy that persists through loss.
