This work draws on the imagery of summer, the seaside, and its rituals, while holding a deeply personal distance from that world.
Fish, shellfish, and sand are motifs that feel visually familiar to me, yet intimately foreign.
Conceived as an embroidered piece with the spirit of a poster, it brings together typography, image, and ornament.
Through thread, aversion is transformed into composition, irony, and graphic tension.
