Jardin secret
This project emerged from a reflection on the idea of a secret garden.
Mine is not a refuge, but a place of burial — an inner space where wounds, humiliations, and traces of violence are laid to rest.
In this work, that intimate landscape becomes almost funerary, where what has been buried also becomes the ground for transformation. The hand is freely reinterpreted from Apollo and Daphne by Giovanni Angelo Canini
(c. 1650), invoking Daphne as a figure of escape, constraint, and survival.
